Julian Wicker is the most recent addition to the Kamanu team. His current responsibilities include making pre-form canoe kits, prepping the molds, and building rudders. He is also learning to laminate. Julian moved to Hawaii from Florida in 2001. He attended Kalaheo High School where he learned to paddle and quickly rose to be the stroker for the schools varsity crew which took 4th at states and 1st at the OIA championships in 2004. Julian graduated in 2005 and since then has coached Kalaheo's JV team to back to back OIA championships. When he's not at Kamanu Composites, Julian keeps busy coaching, paddling, or working at 'Oiwi Ocean Gear.
