Ikaika Won is a laminator at Kamanu Composites. Ikaika grew up in Moanulua, O'ahu, and while attending Damien High School he found himself lured to outrigger canoe paddling. Still a junior in high school, he began experimenting with fiberglass, eventually learning how to shape surfboards. After graduating in 2001, Ikaika's passion for composites led him to HCC's marine fabrication program. He graduated from the program in 2007 and is now a certified composites technician. On top of working for Kamanu Composites, Ikaika is also a part time Ocean Safety Officer for the City and County of Honolulu.
